Tourists staying at Tiger Tops Hotel at Gochhada of Kawasoti Municipality in Nawalparasi will no longer have to go for jungle safari riding an elephant rather they will now be walking behind an elephant to enjoy jungle safari.
Tiger Tops Hotel, one of the oldest hotels in Nepal, has started this venture in wildlife tourism. In Nepal, majority of tourists enjoy wildlife riding elephants, using jeeps or boats.
Most of the tourists’’ first choice is elephant ride as it is considered safe and secure. The hotel, however, has stopped elephant ride and started this new concept in wildlife tourism.
Hotel’’s Managing Director DB Chaudhary said that his hotel had introduced this concept to lure visitors.
As per the new technique of jungle safari, tourists can sit at elephant camp and observe the activities of beasts. Tourists seem very happy walking behind elephants and they are extending their stay at the hotel by 10 days, according to hotel’’s MD.
Chaudhary reasoned that his hotel had introduced new technique in jungle safari to provide tourists with newness and unique experience.
“I believe domestic and foreign tourists will appreciate it,” Chaudhary added.
